Kevin has 20 years of unique experience in marketing, communications and public relations. He was a Pulitzer Prize nominee as a journalist and was former Global Marketing Director for Bluetooth, one of the fastest growing technology brands ever.
His expertise is in mobile, high tech and wireless industries. He’s managed marketing, communications and public relations for both start-up companies and major brands, like Motorola, Microsoft and Bluetooth.

He’s an expert storyteller. Develops messages & strategies for companies to succeed in the mobile marketplace. And creates executable, practical marketing programs to build brands and awareness for innovative companies.

Before co-founding Lucid Communications, Kevin spent 12-years as a professional journalist. He also has an extensive background in public relations as a social media expert, account director and business development lead.

While at Bluetooth he oversaw global marketing strategy and execution and worked on sponsorships and co-marketing efforts with major companies including Ford, Samsung, T-Mobile, Plantronics, Verizon, Fox Home Entertainment and Alaska Airlines.

Through strategic marketing efforts he helped position several startup companies as industry thought leaders in the wireless space. He fostered one startup’s acquisition by Motorola and served as a technology communications manager at Motorola to craft and evangelize software strategy for Moto’s mobile devices business unit.

Co-Chair & organizer for Mobile Monday Seattle (a gathering of the greater Seattle high tech community) and Mobile Northwest – a premier technology conference. Member of CTIA partner program to connect developers and mobile platforms.

Formerly North America Marketing Manager for Bluetooth wireless technology. Oversaw US-based marketing programs, including launching Bluetooth high-speed technology to the 12,000+ Bluetooth member companies and the wireless industry. Spearheaded the design and execution of the Bluetooth hands-free campaign for consumers leveraging creative co-marketing, PR and social media tactics.
Manage global Web sites including crafting content plans, developing content and overseeing design, metrics and search engine optimization (SEO). Chaired marketing/evangelization committees to promote technology to consumers with programs co-sponsored by companies like Qualcomm, Samsung, Alaska Airlines and Fox Home Entertainment.

Worked with cutting edge technology through private equity firms and their portfolio companies such as Imageware, Campfire and Satellite Intermodal. Pro bono work includes organizations such as the United Nations, the Conference Board and Chicago Counsel of Foreign Relations
